PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.
This was a 48-hour menu UI redesign exercise for the Xbox console version of the game, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
The menu design for PUBG, at the time, felt very cumbersome and difficult to navigate that made starting a new game, inviting friends, and changing settings a difficult experience. The goal was to explore how best to optimize the design and layout of information to be more intuitive and simple enough for new players while maintaining the detail and flexibility that caters to a more hardcore audience of the game.
